Lovely Bugs In Mexico

The village after Leona Vicario that we went to was Baca, and that town was awesome, we went to a park every night and just interacted with the kids and played soccer. In the park they also had a stage so that is also where we did our skits. We had a great reception here, we saw many people come to the Lord. The last night we were there we had the mayor and his family over, along with his advisors for supper. He thanked us over and over for coming and he said that he hoped more groups would come in the future. He also presented us with a certificate, that said thanks for your community service. Then after him and his family left, we had a bunch of the youth over for a bonfire. Which means the same here as it does in the U.S, SMORES and hot dogs!!!!! That night we also saw quite a few people accept Christ!!!! What a Great God!!!

Then we were off to Sacapuc, yes it is pronounced sack-a-pook. But we jokingly call it sack of puke!!! So original huh!?!?!? This place with a little more rough they were a lot colder then the other villages we had been to, they weren't as recieving as previous villages. The Catholic Church pretty much dominated this town. They even have there very own witch doctor. Needless to say we didn't have to much luck there, but hopefully we planted some seeds and later the Lord will work. Well Dad this ones for you. The last village we stayed in was about the size of Manvel, and me and five other girls stayed in this one room. Well besides the cockroaches, beetles, stink bugs and spiders. So one night I came into my room and there was a huge spider sitting on the pillow of the bed, next to my hammock. Like I mentioned before in a previous note that Jeremy couldn't stand the heat, well Dad you wouldn't be able to stand the spiders. We had four in our room all together, and believe me they weren't small ones by any means!!! Needless to say shoes come in handy for more then just walking.

Some More Great Info

I forgot to mention in my last entry that while here in Mexico I purchased a puppy. Yep Mom you read that right I bought my first puppy, and I only had to spend a dollar for it, can you believe that? Unreal. We were out evangelizing and these kids were kicking, slapping and dragging this puppy around, so we asked if we could buy it. So me and this guy on our team split the two dollars he wanted for it and bought it. Her name was Mits. She was too cute. Don´t worry though we already found her a good home, the next door neighbors to where we are staying took her in!!! How awesome is that??? So we still get to see her everyday, but she is no more our dog!

Today is our last full day here in Leona Vicario, tomorrow we are headed back to Cancun for awhile and then to our next village!!! I believe the plan is to stay in the next village for a week. Please pray for our team during this week because we will all be staying in the same room and also be cooking our own meals.

Here In Mexico

Well let me tell you a little about Mexico, there are some great things that have happened so far while being here. The first night I got to sleep in a room with 13 other girls in hammocks, oh man the room was like three high with them, pretty interesting to say the least. In the town we´re in now the room we´re in I believe on an average is like 90 degrees like all the time. Needless to say Jeremy you would not survive !!!! Oh and while we are here you can not flush your toilet paper, so when you go to the bathroom you have to wipe and then throw it into the garbage that sits next to it. GROSS!!! So there´s a garbage there that´s just full of literal crap!!! UNREAL!! Then one night one of the girls screams and is like there´s a scorpion in the bathroom so I get a shoe and smack it, bam dead scorpion. Here´s a great thing, since we´ve been in this town that we´re in now there has been at least 5 people that have gotten saved!!!
