Lovely Bugs In Mexico
The village after Leona Vicario that we went to was Baca, and that town was awesome, we went to a park every night and just interacted with the kids and played soccer. In the park they also had a stage so that is also where we did our skits. We had a great reception here, we saw many people come to the Lord. The last night we were there we had the mayor and his family over, along with his advisors for supper. He thanked us over and over for coming and he said that he hoped more groups would come in the future. He also presented us with a certificate, that said thanks for your community service. Then after him and his family left, we had a bunch of the youth over for a bonfire. Which means the same here as it does in the U.S, SMORES and hot dogs!!!!! That night we also saw quite a few people accept Christ!!!! What a Great God!!!
Then we were off to Sacapuc, yes it is pronounced sack-a-pook. But we jokingly call it sack of puke!!! So original huh!?!?!? This place with a little more rough they were a lot colder then the other villages we had been to, they weren't as recieving as previous villages. The Catholic Church pretty much dominated this town. They even have there very own witch doctor. Needless to say we didn't have to much luck there, but hopefully we planted some seeds and later the Lord will work. Well Dad this ones for you. The last village we stayed in was about the size of Manvel, and me and five other girls stayed in this one room. Well besides the cockroaches, beetles, stink bugs and spiders. So one night I came into my room and there was a huge spider sitting on the pillow of the bed, next to my hammock. Like I mentioned before in a previous note that Jeremy couldn't stand the heat, well Dad you wouldn't be able to stand the spiders. We had four in our room all together, and believe me they weren't small ones by any means!!! Needless to say shoes come in handy for more then just walking.
