An Early Christmas Blessing
So for the past week or so, there has been a severe cut off of support coming in.
Which is understandable, considering the season. At that point I still had a few hundred dollars to raise for full support, so needless to say what did I start to do?? Well I started to worry and think of other ways I would be able to put together some support myself. Instead of fully trusting that the Lord and His people would pull through. So yesterday the mail came in and out of the ordinary as of late, there were a few letters for me. Well like a kid on Christmas I tore into them, and between those two letters I reached my goal!!! Praise Jesus. The amount of money I get over my DTS (Discipleship Training School) goal, goes straight to my outreach money. So here's a BIG THANKS to all my faithful supporters, whether you have sup
ported in money or prayers, it has been much appreciated.
Here's a funny story to leave you all with, last night we had an early Christmas with my brother and sister in law, because they were leaving this morning for Louisiana. It got to grandma to open her present and so she did, and it was a daily calendar with a funny story and/or quotes for grandma's and grandpa's. So we were like well grandma lets hear one. And so she proceeds to read the first one which was pretty funny. And Lance says, 'well I hope that there aren't any vulgar ones in there, we didn't have chance to read a lot of them.' Grandma then turns the page and says, 'oh this one isn't the greatest.' So like all curious minds, we wondered what it had to say. Grandma, bifocals tuned in, begins to read this story and in my 22 years of life, I don't believe I have ever heard this woman swear. But in the middle of our early Christmas celebration my grandma swore, because it was part of the story. It was so funny,Sarah and I looked at each other and busted out laughing, but she didn't skip a beat, and kept reading. Grandparents are so special.
